Train Stations:
Ueno - Kashiwa - Tsuchiura - Tomobe - Mito (Ibaraki) then Katsuta
At JR Katsuta Station, find the EAST EXIT bus terminal that has a black statue of two nude ladies and where Terrace Inn Katsuta is visible.

Notes:
*there are chances that you will stand inside the bus
* may encounter a driver that does not speak to you no matter how many times you ask
* after several bus stops, you will still have to walk for more than 15 to 20 minutes from the bus stop to the Nishiguchi Tsubasa no Gate (West Entrance) of the park hence, riding the taxi is better if you're a group of 4 and up

After hours of walking, taking photos and gawking at the flowers, plants and the entire Miharashi no Oka, don't forget to have tea at the restaurant near the lake or try the soy sauce ice cream.
Because of all the walking up and down the hill side area of Miharashi no Oka, our feet got swollen and we have no energy to ride the bus anymore. Taxi was our solution going back to JR Katsuta Station.

We'll definitely visit this huge park again in late April for the tulips and early May for the Nemophila (baby blue eyes).
